Here's what we did to get our barangay ID from the Sun Valley barangay hall -
1. Bring a valid ID* addressed to your residence and cedula to your local Barangay Hall
2. Go to the room where the barangay ID is issued
3. State your reason for getting a barangay ID (bank transfer, real estate, etc)
4. After giving your documents, you will be directed to another window for payment. We paid PhP200 for the ID (PhP100 for the ID and another PhP100 for the bank transaction).
5. After payment, you will be asked to have your photo taken for the ID
6. Once your photo is taken, the staff handling your ID will ask you to confirm your data, then have you sign your signature onto the ID
7. All that's left is printing the ID itself, which wouldn't take more than a few minutes, and you're done!
*If you do not have an ID that indicates your home address, the staff will provide a form that will have to be signed by your homeowner's association or property management office (in the case of condo dwellers). This will serve as validation that you are resident of the barangay. It will require two trips to the barangay hall, but the process is fairly fast if your homeowner office is open.
